Helping Hands

Recently, one of our Brother Knights, P.G.K. Richard Mastronardi, suffered a catastrophe at his place of business. "Major Appliance", which he had run for 30 yrs, was destroyed by a fire. Luckily, Rick and his workers got out without any bodily injury, but everything in the building was gone. Rick had many appliances in his shop that he was repairing for customers, as well as many parts ordered for others. Everything was destroyed, and Rick was beside himself. His Council, St. Martha Council #7926, was there to help in any way they could.

When the time came for Rick to move whatever he could salvage from the wreckage, Grand Knight Bryan Dickerson and 4 of his Brother Knights, Edmund Callahan, Anthony DeCresci, Richard Stanton, and D.D. John Gazis, along with Rick's two brothers, went with Rick and spent the day moving some salvagable parts to Rick's new place of business. Rick was always there, as member and as Grand Knight, for whoever needed a hand, and his Brother Knights felt happy to be able to return to Rick and his family some of what Rick has provided to his Council since he joined the Council.
